De Beauvoir Forum (DBRF) is a London-based consultancy which supports people and organisations across the cultural and creative industries to build authentic, sustainable and financially responsible practices. We are a group of academics and cultural workers passionate about making cultural and creative industries a more resilient and financially literate sector.

At the heart of our work is the combination of creative development and financial literacy—helping practitioners understand, value, and sustain their labour as they develop their careers. We work with people at all career stages as well as organisations.

We guide aspiring students through portfolio development and university pathways, support international students as they adapt to studying in English, offer long-term support to graduates, or those changing career paths and strengthen intercultural understanding for organisations working across borders. Our mission is to cultivate a cultural ecosystem that is confident, financially literate, and sustained by long‑term creative resilience.
